Al kijkend de wereld rond, valt mijn blik ergens op, ik zie. Intuïtief besluit ik te fotograferen. Waarom ik voor het beeld viel, waarom ik het zag wordt mij dan pas duidelijk. Het raakte ergens aan, het maakte iets in mij wakker. Achteraf begrijp ik het, tijd moet er overheen gaan bij mij. Ik noem het inklinken, zoals klei kan verdichten door in te klinken.
Wondering around the world, unconsciously driven by attention, I see and photograph by intuition. What leads to my attention surfaces over time and gains clarity reflecting my observation. In retrospect purpose meets my intention.
On my path
Al kijkend de wereld rond, valt mijn blik ergens op, ik zie. Intuïtief reagerend op licht en byzondere kleuren, besluit ik te fotograferen.
Wondering around in my surrounding, my gaze gets attention and intuitively responding to light and color, I focus to catch the moment.
Loud and clear
Licht in de natuur straalt uit in schoonheid, vaak in alle eenvoud en voor een korte instantie.
Nature amplified in its beauty by light, often in ease and just occurring in the moment.
Frozen
Een foto is een moment opname, maar wat gebeurt er als de foto wordt ingevroren en het proces van het ontdooien wordt gefotografeerd.

De serie ‘Breitner moves me’, is mijn afstudeerproject op de Foto Academie en werd onder andere afgedrukt op cyanotype coated paper.
